Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his visit to Latur and Beed districts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar emphasized that he is focusing on highlighting the government's welfare schemes and development efforts instead of engaging in arguments with the opposition. Addressing a query regarding Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's remarks on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai to understand the basis of the statement. He spoke at a large gathering in Majalgaon, Beed district, promoting the government's commitment to inclusive development and urging support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. Emphasizing the party's dedication to secular values, Pawar emphasized that the government is following the principles of leaders like Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. He highlighted initiatives such as the "Jan Sanman Yatra" and the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana, which provides financial assistance to hardworking women. Additionally, Pawar mentioned other programs including free education for girls, electricity bill waivers for farmers, crop insurance for Re 1, milk subsidy, and increased honorariums for various positions.He mentioned that all these initiatives would be maintained for the next five years if the Mahayuti receives support in the forthcoming elections.
